My Weekly Adventures....

Hello Everyone

As you can probably tell I have Blogging block (I know, it's terrible!). I can't think of what to write, review or talk about so I thought hmm maybe I should invite you into my personal life and tell all the fabulous, fun things I have been doing on the school holidays. (I can almost hear the excitement as you read this)... but be warned! My life is incredibly B-O-R-I-N-G.

Ok, So during the first week of these fabulous holiday my bed was my best friend, Derek Shepard was my boyfriend and Tumblr was my life. And I know your probably thinking wow she is layzeeee and your probably right..... still this is what I literally do in the first week of school holidays, I relax and watch TV online. Except when my internet cut off, I guess you could say I was lost with my life, however this didn't stop me from watching YouTube videos and being a little bit uncomfortable with Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball. So anyway, that is my fabulous first week completed and in a way it was terrible because Grey's Anatomy has officially taken over my life!

Which brings me into second week, the final week before school begins (ugh). This week consisted of more Grey's Anatomy since the new season came out! (Was anyone else as excited as me? Leave a comment below!) as well as the eager wait for Vampire Diaries and the Breaking Bad Finale. But it wasn't all TV, there was a party on the Wednesday or as my friend liked to call an 'Intimate Get Together'. It was amazing with a lot of food and the beach. But since we had to walk to the beach, guess who forgot their shoes?... Me, so rocks were digging into my feet and they were very painful at the end of the night. I also go to see one of my good friends that I hadn't seen for a long time. It was an amazing night... and in case any of you's were wondering, no, there was no alcohol and no one got wasted or anything like that. AHA!

And now we are at present time, as I am typing, Vampire Diaries is downloading, Elementary is downloading, Grey's Anatomy is downloading, Tumblr is loading and I am in my bed with the air-con on full blast ready for an exciting night of new TV shows...by my self. #foreveralone

So there we have it! My exciting holiday before the dreaded school starts! I would love to hear what all of you have been getting up to on these school holidays or maybe where you are going next holidays?
Leave it in the comments below!

Thank you for reading!

Hello everybody,

Today’s post is a cool down, start of the week post reviewing the Emmy’s fashion! And this year I was actually surprised by some of the dress choices….. Anyway, I present you my top 5 best dresses and my top 3 worst.

THE BEST!

1.Allison Williams
Ok, to be fair I actually don’t know who she is but she looked stunning. I was a really simple blue Ralph Lauren dress, with a soft make up look and long waves for her hair which made her look stunning and probably the best dressed for me!

2. Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids)
She is so beautiful and soft and vintage in this outfit. Coral pink with her golden skin and waved hair leaves you in love after first glimpse! I mean seriously she looked perfect, I want to be her!

3. Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey)
Her dress was so simple, but so perfect for her and the fashion industry. Her colour orange and brown really complemented each other for this Prada piece which she really pulled off! J’adore

4. Kaley Cuoco (Big Bang Theory)
Dressed in Vera Wang, she look like a vampire princess. The colours, the bodice and the flow of the gown as well as her dark eyes helped pull off this look with ease and I love the dress so much!

5. Cobie Smulders (How I met your mother)
Cobie wore a very simple yet stunning J. Mendel piece. She chose the right colours and a very lovely makeup look and hair to complement it!

...And THE WORST

1.. Heidi Klum (Americas Got Talent)
Sorry Heidi but it look like your choking and the colour is not the best, but it shows off you figure…so I guess that’s a good thing.

2. Lena Dunham (Girls)
Ugh, No, Those colours, not the best. But your so talented! Sorry Lena, but this was really badly done.

3. Cat Deeley (So you think you can dance)
I actually like this dress.. but it did not suit her figure at all, it look all wrong so sorry, but what happened to you style.

Well that’s a wrap for the Emmy's! Everyone looked really stunning and there was surprisingly no hideous dresses! Thank you everyone for reading!
If you have your favorite dress from the Emmy's let me know in the comments below!

OMG! It’s been like what, 2 weeks since I’ve posted? Wow! SORRY! But I have been horrendously busy! With Science assignments that make no sense to me to competing in a drama competition, there has been no time for me to sit down and just type. So today I made myself give up all my assignments and bring to you all…..wait for it……still wait for it…..it’s getting intense in here….. A MAKEUP TUTORIAL!
My first makeup tutorial is a bit of a daunting experience but it’s time for all the young girls out there to be brave, and bold…with their LIPS!

But first things first we need to cover up. Start by using the Maybelline BB cream, but only dab in your T-zone, under eyes and in any breakouts that you seem to have. I would recommend not using a brush, because coverage seems to be lost in the brush which is why it is much better to just use your fingers to blend in the BB cream. Next up is the set powder; we use powder to get rid of that oily shine to a clearer, glowing soft look. I’m using the Rimmel’s Stay Matte Pressed Powder (which does wonders for your skin, so it’s a definite must have in your make up collection!). By using a powder brush, you just want to lightly dust the powder over your face or until you feel that your skin is covered (without over doing it of course). So now that we have the base, we can go and glam up your eyes!

When applying any powder to your eyes, a primer is needs. This allows the eyes shadow to set and can cause less crinkles and wrinkles on your eyelid. So the look that we are going for is a soft, Smokey brown eye. Remember when doing your makeup is it important to only have one stand out piece whether it is your lips, eyes or cheeks. In this case we are opting for a statement lip, so our eyes need to be soft and not over do anything. On my mini eye shadow pallet, I started by mixing the orange colour with the light brown above is and I applied that from the inner of my lid to just the middle, from there I used the grey brown on the outer corner of the lid and blended it just above my crease line and into the middle of the eyelid. Then I applied the matte brown to the outer corner, but just the outer corner and the tiniest bit underneath my eye to enhance the smokey look. I know you’re probably wondering, what brush?  I’m just using my pointing finger and ring finger because I feel that when going for a smokey look, this gives the best, desired outcome! If you’re doing a black smokey eye it is best to use a black eyeliner, but since this is a brown look, we are using a brown liner which is only applied to the lower lash line (Or waterline), and from the outer to the middle of the upper lash line. And finally, MASCARA! My favourite part! I’m using Maybelline’s Cat Eye mascara because it offers the sleek and sexiness that this look desires, but honestly any mascara would look good, especially if it offers volume to the eyes.

This is the part you have all been waiting for, I know! It the LIPPPSSS!!!! The best colour for lips to make that statement is R-E-D! I personally love the colour red, I think it works well with anything but when paired with a LBD (little black Dress) and a gold necklace, you literally become a Goddess!

I’m not using any fancy red lipstick, but I encourage you guys to use a M.A.C , Topshop or Limecrime lipstick because it would last longer and give a better outcome to your desired look.  Anyway, the lipstick I’m using is a classic bright red which completes this makeup look.

So there it is! My first makeup tutorial! If you’d like to see more of these leave it in a comment below and maybe suggest what looks you would like to see next!

Thank you all for reading and I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
That’s all Folks!
